With a solid 19-year career as an engineer on the tools, working across the UK and staying in countless accommodations along the way, I've gained an intimate understanding of the challenges that come with life on the road. From early mornings on site to late nights in unfamiliar places, I've experienced firsthand what it takes to keep teams productive and rested, reliable, comfortable lodging that feels like a true home base. That real-world insight inspired me to pivot into hospitality, where I founded and scaled my own successful short-term rental agency, managing units across the UK and delivering seamless stays for professionals just like the ones I used to work alongside. It was a natural evolution to launch Overnightly, born from a genuine passion to solve the accommodation headaches that plague construction, engineering, and workforce projects. I know the industry inside out; the tight deadlines, the remote locations, and the absolute need for consistency; and that's why Overnightly is designed to make it effortless for our clients. As CEO, I lead with the same hands-on dedication that defined my engineering days: building strong foundations, prioritizing quality, and fostering trust every step of the way.

Over the past two years, she has led Overnightly's operations with precision and care. Before that, she successfully ran her own serviced accommodation business for over three years, catering almost exclusively to clients in the construction sector. She knows the industry, understands the pace, and has first-hand experience of the demands involved in keeping teams housed comfortably and conveniently near site. Her hands-on experience in property development and construction means she doesn't just understand the challenges our clients face; she's lived them. At the heart of Ellie's approach is a firm belief: great business is built on strong relationships.

From the bush to the beach, my journey has taken me across countries and cultures, each one shaping my deep understanding of what genuine hospitality truly means. At the heart of my work is a deep-rooted passion for five-star, customer-focused service. Before moving across to Overnightly, I led operations for our sister short-stay company, where I honed a sharp eye for what both corporate and leisure travellers need when staying away from home, comfort, convenience, and above all, consistency. At Overnightly, I bring that same dedication into every booking we manage.
